On our last day in Venice, we visited St. Mark's Cathedral (the exterior is being renovated, so the façade is mostly draped). After touring the Cathedral we revisited some of our favorite places, had dinner near the Rialto Bridge and watched the sunset. What an interesting city to begin the tour and what a beautiful ending to the day.

The interior of St. Marks is covered with beautiful mosaics. It is only lit up for one hour each day. We made a reservation so we could be inside to see the mosaics with the lights on. We were so glad we did!
