Today we visited the Doges Palace and the Correr Museum. No photos are allowed in the Doges Palace, so we just got photos of the outside and the entrance. The rooms in the Doges Palace were covered with magnificent paintings. The Correr was an interesting experience, displaying extensive examples of period furnishings and artifacts depicting the history of Venice.

We met our tour group and our escort Kathleen in the afternoon. It looked like a great group of people to travel with. We spent the evening strolling around Venice.
