"My Way" Tours are escorted, rather than guided, which appealed to us as it provided hotels, transportation and a knowledgeable escort. Rather than being guided, we planned our sightseeing in advance. We had been to all of the places on the tour, so we felt comfortable deciding what we wanted to see and do. The tour began in Venice. We had been on Rick's Loire to the South of France Tour the previous two weeks. That tour ended in Nice on Friday; we flew to Venice on Saturday thus allowing us the better part of two days to enjoy Venice before meeting the tour on Sunday.
